I was recently asked if it made sense to purchase the 2 bedroom over the 1 bedroom since they have the budget for both. I typically respond with 2 bedrooms are generally more desirable and easier to resale. In the current market, this holds true: 1 bedrooms stay on market at a median rate of 91 days compared to the 2 bedrooms at 61 days. This is based on 2024 closed data in downtown.
